Founded in April 1999, the Tallahassee Volunteer Fire Protection (TVFP) is a volunteer fire department which serves Northwest Fremont County, Colorado, and specializes in wild land and urban interface fire fighting. TVFP is recognized across Fremont County and the state of Colorado as a top-notch rural fire department! We are supported by contributions from land owners and residents in our service area. To report a fire in the TVFP service area please call 911 Please be prepared to give as exact a location as you can
PLEASE notify dispatch if you intend to do any burning--regardless of the weather. Things can and do sometimes get out of hand and quickly.
